Spending a full day photographing this West Vancouver home by Architecture Building Culture was a treat. The house feels like it’s carved right out of the landscape, nestled beneath a forested granite cliff with views that make you pause. The open-plan layout and floor-to-ceiling windows create an almost seamless connection between the inside and the outdoors. The abundance of natural light pouring in from every angle brings the space to life, making each room feel warm and inviting.
What stood out to me was how thoughtfully the design incorporates the surroundings. Each bedroom has its own terrace, a private little slice of the garden that invites you to step outside and soak in the sun. The living room, framed by large glass sliding doors, offers a stunning perspective of both the front and back yards, blurring the line between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty. The front porch, where the afternoon sun meets the activity of the neighborhood, felt like the perfect spot to unwind with a drink and watch the world go by. This house isn’t just a structure—it’s an experience of light, space, and connection to nature.
